i made this one looking more simple since its the while family. This banner is alright i think.

i like this one, i like the effects and the font of the words.

The Gem of Life ThoughtsI am currently up to epsiode 59. Now, I'll talk a little about what I think about this series.

This series isn't the best series, I don't like it that much. Sometimes there are scenes that are very boring that I can fall alseep straight away. And sometimes there are better scenes. I think the scenes are made me wanted to

watch more was how Linda wanted to separate Gigi and Moses. Those 2 episodes were interesting.

For Gigi and Moses' story, I was looking forward to it. There were parts I thought were quite boring and some parts good. This couple is just like the story, sometimes good to watch and sometimes boring. Hope they'll be better soon?

As for Maggie and Bowie, I really liked watching them fight in the begginning, it was good there. Their story got a bit boring towards the middle, but still okay I guess?

And for Ada, her's is just boring for me, I recon. Didn't like watching her form the begginning especially.

I liked parts how all three of them are like together, it was quite sad when Gigi found out that Ada and Maggie already knew that her husband cheated on her. How she got betrayed, that was sad. Have anyone realised that Gigi always cry? She cries in a lot of series.

Anyway, overall, I don't like this series to be honest. Only parts of it interest me. I hope this series will hurry and finish, no wonder the ratings are so bad. == A very short thoughts about this series.

Synopsis:

NIP CHI YUEN (Ma Steven), who works in the anti-smuggling camp, is determined to wipe out the Tau's Fort, which is the stronghold for salt smugglers. He pretends to be a down-and-out scholar. TAU SING SUET (Yeung Yi), daughter of the chief smuggler, sympathizes with YUEN and puts him up in the village. Later, they even become fond of each other. During an anti-smuggling operation SUET is badly hurt and has since been separated from YUEN and her family. Fortunately she is saved by WU TING HIN (Wong Ho Yin), son of salt merchant WU KIN (Kwok Fung). HIN takes her home. One day, SUET is horrified to see the dead bodies of her parent being hung on the wall of the city tower, and that the official standing on the top of the tower telling the public not to sell smuggled salt is none other than the man she misses day and night. She is heartbroken, and her love for YUEN turns into hatred that moment on.
HIN finds a job for SUET at the salt company his family runs to help her get over her unhappiness. To repay him, she devotes herself entirely to the job. As time goes by, HIN starts to fall in love with her. However his critical illness making him hesitates to express his love for her. SUET's real identity comes to light when her younger uncle reappears out of the blue. HIN, for fear that his family will report SUET, proposes to her.

My Comments: I have been anticipated for this series a little, I hope it'll be a good series, coz by the look, it doesn't look very interesting. But even so, I will watch for Tavia! Looking forward to this series anyway, and the chemistry between Tavia and Steven! :) Hate the fact that they make this series air overseas.

Review:

This series is actually very average but I quite liked it, I'm sure lots of people did too. When I saw the traliers, it looked very interesting, and it was kinda. But some things disappointed me, like the "Alex, Abbie and Hilary" love triangle. I thought this love triangle would be very interesting to watch, it was alright in the end, still liked it. But I was expecting something like, Vivien doing bad things to get Eric. I thought Vivien's role was a little bad always liked taking stuff away from Shirley. But she actually had a nice role, I first thought this was a triangle love, but it's actually not really one. Vivien didn't really steped into their relationship, she stepped in after they broke up. And they just started with a kiss. I was a little shocked that Eric was sending a "I miss you too" email to Vivien. I think if Vivien didn't brake up woth Eric, it'll really turn into a love triangle. But glad he chose, (actually Vivien helped him) Shirley in the end.

As for Wayne and Sonija's relationship, I looked forward to it alot too, coz I like watching couples that hated each other in the beginning, this relationship was alright, I liked the others more. The ones I watched how they aruge in the beginning and turn to couples, those were more exciting to watch, this one was only average, tvb don't seem to like making it more exciting. Maybe because tvb series are not just about love. It was funny when Sonija started thinking about Wayne is good and then suddenly she stepped on poo and got bird poo on her head coz she once sweared if she likes Wayne, that will happen and she only THOUGHT about it.

As for Lily Ho, Jason Chan and Macy, I wasn't really shocked that Macy was a les, coz I read a magazine that she was already. Anyway, this couple is alright too, if they talked more about them, probably would like them more. I think Lily is quite pretty. Found out, she is a contestent in Miss Hong Kong, only won one award.

And now about the family. I recon its quite funny how Paul Chun keeps saying that Mary Hon is the one nervous when he is the one. It was also funny how when Mary said "Your daughter won't come out to eat" and Paul says, "It's my daughter when she's bad and she's your daughter when she's good!" or was it the other way round? Can't remember. The ending was alright, after all this series more about family.
